The Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber & Welcome Center Community & Conference Room is available for reservations, and is open to the public.

Meetings that are used for Chamber members, the City of Glenwood, Pope County, or state government agencies are free of charge to use, courtesy of our agreements and cooperative support with the City of Glenwood, Pope County Board of Commissioners, and the Pope County HRA/EDA. Chamber members: Please enter Member in the discount code area (capital "M").

There are several meetings scheduled on an on-going basis. To find out if the room is available, you can check out our Community Calendar. When scrolling through the calendar, you can specify "Event Type" to narrow down the search to specific categories. You can access our Community Calendar by clicking here.

Features of the Community & Conference Room include:
  • Built in kitchenette, sink, refrigerator, microwave, trash and recycling
  • Private entrance from the parking lot in the back of the building, plus access from the street entrance
  • Dry erase marker board
  • Table top podium for presenters
  • 55" Smart TV mounted to the wall in the front of the room, with an HDMI hook-up for easy use
  • DVD player
  • Easy access to the restroom
  • Desktop computer
  • An extra telephone that can be plugged in for conference calling
Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce members and Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center Individual & Family members are entitled to use the Community & Conference Room 12 times a year, free of charge as one of the member benefits. Please use the discount code: Member (case sensitive) on the first page of your registration to receive the discount.

Chamber & Welcome Center Conference & Community Room rental for the general public:
  • $50.00: 1/2 day
  • $100.00: Full day
Every rental will be required to sign THIS WAIVER.

Our vision for the Pope County Community Expo is to bring residents together to connect with local businesses, public safety, nonprofits, and educational resources. This vibrant, family-friendly event celebrates community pride, highlights everything Pope County has to offer, and reinforces that we are better together.

You are invited to participate in the Pope County Community Expo on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Minnewaska High School. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business or organization to a large, engaged audience.

ALL activities are FREE and open to the public.This year we will celebrate the 29th year of this community family event.  Without the support and generosity of local area businesses, organizations, families and individuals, we cannot offer all that we do.

The Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided to the sponsors in exchange for their financial donations.  In order to receive the tax-deduction receipt, checks must be made out to the Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center, not the Chamber!

Join us for a fun-filled, family-friendly, three-day outdoor vendor event during Waterama in beautiful Glenwood City Park!


Event Details

Sales Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily (vendors may stay later if desired)
Booth Cost:

  • Single Booth (10' x 10'): $100.00

  • Double Booth (10' x 20'): $200.00
    Cost includes all three days. Preference is given to vendors who can attend all three days.
    No discounts are offered for attending only one or two days.
    Chamber Member Discount: Use code Member (case-sensitive) for $25.00 off.

Set-up time will be communicated to all registered vendors closer to the event.


Vendor Information & Guidelines

Booth Assignments:

  • Booths will be assigned by the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce based on vendor needs and preferences.

  • Returning vendors will be placed as close as possible to previous locations; however, final placement is at the Chamber’s discretion.

Direct Sales Vendors:

  • No duplicate brand vendors (e.g., Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, etc.) allowed.

  • Priority will be given to Chamber members when reasonable or to the first registered vendor.

  • Final decisions are at the discretion of the Chamber.

Product Guidelines:

  • All items must be family-friendly. Any vendor displaying inappropriate, explicit, or offensive materials will be asked to leave immediately.

  • Political vendors are not allowed at this event.

  • No recreational drugs or alcohol are allowed in booth spaces or during sale hours.

  • Only goods and merchandise may be sold. No food or beverage vendors due to Waterama regulations. (If you're a food vendor, please contact us for appropriate event contacts.)

  • Local vendors preferred, but all are welcome to apply.

  • Space is limited—vendor acceptance is first-come, first-served.


Cancellations & Refund Policy

  • No refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days before the event.

  • This is a rain-or-shine event—please plan accordingly.


Vendor Responsibilities

  • Keep booth spaces clean and tidy throughout the event.

  • Clean your space completely before leaving on Sunday.

  • Follow all Chamber, City, and Waterama event guidelines.

  • The Chamber reserves the right to deny participation based on complaints, non-compliance, unpaid fees, or rule violations.

By registering, vendors agree to abide by all event rules and policies.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 4, 2026 Barsness Park 11:00 AM SHARP Four fields of 1,000 eggs each for kids 0-3, 4-5, 6-8 and 9-12 All start at the same time. Following the hunt a picnic lunch is served in the Glenhaven building while supplies last. Some eggs will contain a prize. Gold Sponsor - $200.00 Silver Sponsor -$100.00 Bronze Sponsor - $50.00

You're invited to join the Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center at the Community Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 21nd at 11:30 am at Minnewaska House Brewing Co + Grill. We will introduce our Board of Directors including recent retirees, enjoy a delicious lunch, and honor our local community members. Tickets are $25 each and will include a meal Reserve a table of six for $150 (we'll save the table with your business name). This event is open to the public.
