The Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber & Welcome Center Community & Conference Room is available for reservations, and is open to the public.
Meetings that are used for members, the City of Glenwood, Pope County, or state government agencies are free of charge to use, courtesy of our agreements and cooperative support with the City of Glenwood, Pope County Board of Commissioners, and the Pope County HRA/EDA.
There are several meetings scheduled on an on-going basis. To find out if the room is available, you can check out our Community Calendar. When scrolling through the calendar, you can specify "Event Type" to narrow down the search to specific categories. You can access our Community Calendar by clicking here.
Features of the Community & Conference Room include:
- Built in kitchenette, sink, refrigerator, microwave, trash and recycling
- Private entrance from the parking lot in the back of the building, plus access from the street entrance

- Table top podium for presenters
- 55" Smart TV mounted to the wall in the front of the room, with an HDMI hook-up for easy use

- Easy access to the restroom

- An extra telephone that can be plugged in for conference calling

July 26, 27 & 28, 2024 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at Glenwood City Park
Set-up Time: 8:00 a.m. Friday morning (must be set up by 10:00 a.m.)
Sales Time: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible; can stay later if desired)
Cost: $100.00 -includes all three days! Preference to vendors who can attend all three days.
*Chamber members can enter the discount code: Member (case sensitive) and receive a $25.00 discount.
Local vendors and exhibitors preferred but all will be considered. No food vendors allowed due to the Waterama rules. Food vendors- shoot us an email and we'll put you in touch with the right person. Space is limited. Vendors will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Duplicate vendors with the same products and/or services will not be allowed. Event is rain or shine. No refunds will be given.

2024 Chamber Cup Golf Tournament8/12/2024
Tee-Up for a day of networking and fun at the annual Chamber Cup Golf Tournament! This 4-person scramble is our one major annual fundraiser that helps create programming, education, networking and advocacy for our business community. This year, the tournament will be held on Monday, August 12th at Minnewaska Golf Club. There will be a variety of fun games to play along the course along with the opportunity to win bragging rights with your group name engraved in our traveling trophy. The evening winds down with a catered meal, prizes, and awards and offers an opportunity to get out of the office and connect with the Chamber and community members. This is a fun-filled event that caters to both beginners as well as experienced golfers.

You're invited to join the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber and the Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center at the Community Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 16th at 11:30am at Minnewaska House Brewing Co + Grill. We will introduce our Board of Directors including recent retirees, enjoy a delicious lunch, and honor our local businesses and community members. Tickets are $25 each and will include a meal of meatballs and gravy, vegetables, potatoes, dessert and a beverage. Reserve a table of six for $150 (we'll save the table with your business name). This event is open to the public. We are currently seeking one sponsor of $250 to cover the meals of our 11 Community Service Award Nominee's. Call Sara or Kay for more information at 320-634-3636.

Join us for Crazy Days downtown Glenwood during the Waterama celebration! Spaces available Thursday and Friday - July 25th and 26th along Minnesota Avenue East on the sidewalks outside of the retail businesses. A map and set up locations will be provided a week prior to the event. Each vendor must bring all of their own supplies, table and chairs. Canopy's welcome but must have weights as they'll be on a sidewalk. The cost is $25 for both days or your choice of days. Chamber members may set up for no cost but must register. Vendors may come early or stay late but we'd like to advertise you'll be there from 10 - 5. We will have portable restrooms available and food at several downtown businesses for your convenience.
