Want to be part of the action at the Gedenke BBQ Cookoff? Sign up to be a judge and help us crown this year’s winners! No experience needed - just bring your appetite and be ready to taste some amazing BBQ. (Note you cannot be a judge for a category you or your bbq team enterered in) 

Please show up to the Gedenke BBQ tent about 10 minutes prior to the Judging time to check in. 

Judging Times:

• Friday
  • Sausage – 6:00 PM
  • BBQ Sauce – 6:00 PM
  • Open Category – 7:00 PM
• Saturday
  • Chicken – 1:00 PM
  • Beans – 2:00 PM
  • Pork Ribs – 3:00 PM
  • Brisket – 5:00 PM

Judges will be given samples and a simple score sheet to complete. It’s a fun and important role to help make sure our teams are judged fairly!

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR EVERY CATEGORY - that is a LOT of food 😅 Pick a few that you’re most interested in and enjoy!
If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, we ask that you please do not sign up for judging.

Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up early!

Vendor Hours & Event Information

Booth Space
Standard vendor spaces are 10’ x 10’. Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, chairs, and any additional setup needed for their booth.

Friday – May 8
Regular vendors are required to be open from 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM.
The event continues until 11:30 PM, and vendors are welcome to remain open the entire time if they choose.

Food truck vendors are required to remain open for the full duration of the event on Friday (until 11:30 PM).

Saturday – May 9
Regular vendors are required to be open from 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM.
The event continues until 11:30 PM, and vendors are welcome to remain open later if they wish.

Food truck vendors are required to remain open for the full duration of the event on Saturday (until 11:30 PM).

Detailed vendor setup times, booth locations, and event instructions will be sent out to all registered vendors the week of the event.
