Thursday's 12 noonAbout Us
Rotary club members are business and professional leaders who volunteer in their communities and promote world understanding and peace. Rotary's 31,000 clubs in more than 165 countries and regions encourage high ethical standards and carry out humanitarian projects to address such issues as poverty, health, hunger, education and the environment.Rotary's motto is "Service Above Self"
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
2. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
3. The application of the ideal service by every Rotarian to his personal, business and community life;
4. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional citizens united in the ideal of service.
The Rotary Club of Willows does what seems necessary to do -- whatever it can do as part of service to the community. We meet in fellowship every Thursday noon at Pat & Larry's Steakhouse.
Of the things we think, say or do;
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
