Registration begins at 8 am, the Run begins at 9 am at the Chester Snowmobile Park, Hwy 36 & 89, across from the A-13 turn off. Register Now! Food, beverages, raffles...fun for the whole family. The Mushers Are Coming! Annual Dog Sled Races February 20 - 21st Once again the skilled mushers of the Sierra Nevada Dog Drivers will come to the Lake Almanor Basin to participate in this beautiful race in the pines. This year spectators will be able to see more than ever before! Join in the fun behind Cedar Chalet Bakery, Cedar Lodge Motel & RV on the Old Hwy, Corner of Hwy 89 & Hwy 36. Trade Shows Market Lake Almanor Chamber Members teamed up to represent Lake Almanor at 2010 Sports & Recreation Shows in San Mateo, Sacramento and Reno.
