Student Interns for Your Business
The Surprise Regional Chamber is a proud promotional partner of Career and Technical Education (CTE). Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs prepare students to enter the workforce with the academic and technical skills needed to compete successfully in the job market. CTE courses typically include competency-based learning in the areas of culinary arts, sales and marketing, computer animation/digital communications and healthcare to name a few of the areas. CTE programs improve our workforce by providing a skilled workforce, which in turn attracts more businesses.
The internships start and finish as unpaid experiences. However, we have had many interns continue the partnerships as a paid experience. Students enrolled in a CTE courses have liability insurance and worker’s compensation coverage.

SBA?s District Offices are responsible for the delivery of SBA's many programs and services throughout the country. Services available include: Free counseling, advice and information on starting a business through SCORE. Financial assistance for new or existing businesses through guaranteed loans made by area bank and non-bank lenders. Free consulting services through the network of Small Business Development Centers. SBDCs also conduct training events - some require a nominal registration fee.
