Leadership doesn’t have to be stiff or serious to be effective. In fact, humor is often an underused tool that fuels creativity, strengthens culture, builds resilience, and deepens connection—without sacrificing credibility or impact.

This year’s conference will feature comedian Chris Munch and an interactive experience centered on shared learning and meaningful conversation. Together, we’ll explore the power of humor, how it strengthens leadership and workplace culture, and the ways different humor styles show up in everyday leadership.

Attendees will walk away with practical ways to use humor intentionally and authentically as a leadership skill—fueling creativity, connection, and confidence at work and in daily life. Because on April Fool’s Day, we’re no fools about leadership!

Learn the secrets of the “rainforests of the sea” as you embark on an oceanic safari of the world’s most vibrant—and endangered—marine ecosystems. The target audience for Expedition Reef is ages 8 and up.

This show is held at the Jenks Planetarium, Jenks High School, Dr. Kirby A. Lehman Center for the Study of Math and Science Center, 3rd Floor. Elevator available. Join the Jenks Chamber of Commerce and the Jenks Fire Department for a ribbon cutting and open house celebrating the new Fire Station 1.

Date: April 8th
Time: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Location: 208 N. Elm Street, Jenks, OK

The event will begin at 4:30 PM with self guided tours of the new station. Firefighters will be located throughout the station to answer questions and show attendees equipment.

The Jenks Chamber will host the official ribbon cutting at 5:00 PM, immediately followed by a traditional fire truck wash and dry ceremony, a long standing fire service tradition.

The community is invited to attend, explore the new facility, and celebrate this important addition to Jenks public safety.  Light refreshments will be served.

See the scenes come together in an amazing retelling of the Bible. A must-see for all art lovers! We’re turning up the personality at this year’s Chrome on the River Car Show with a John Daly Look-Alike Contest—because nothing pairs better with classic cars than loud outfits, long drives, and a little swagger.
Whether you’re already cruising through the car show or showing up just to channel your inner Daly, this is your moment.

• Contest takes place right before the official car show awards ceremony at 1:30 PM.
