“Leadership for Impact”

The Empower Kearney Leadership Academy is a dynamic nine-month experience designed to cultivate and empower both established and emerging leaders. Participants will strengthen leadership skills, expand networks, and gain the knowledge needed to make a lasting impact on their businesses and community.

The academy runs September through May, with monthly sessions focused on leadership development and community engagement.

September – Foundations of Leadership
Build a strong leadership foundation through self-awareness, purpose discovery, teambuilding, and goal setting. Begin developing a leadership mindset rooted in personal growth and community impact.

October – Leading from Within
Explore purpose, personal branding, and team culture. Strengthen connection, trust, and vulnerability while understanding how leadership influences workplace environments.

November – Leadership Effectiveness
Develop emotional intelligence, personal productivity, and communication skills. Learn how assertive communication builds trust and strengthens leadership impact.

December – Strengths-Based Leadership & Community Systems
Discover and apply your Top 5 CliftonStrengths while gaining insight into education and workforce development systems within the community.

January – Personal Growth & Community Impact
Strengthen personal development through growth mindset and coaching while exploring healthcare and public safety systems in the community.

February – Vision, Influence & Leadership in Action
Focus on leadership as influence, developing vision, priorities, and personal growth to inspire others and create meaningful impact.

March – Trust in Leadership
Understand trust as a strategic leadership skill built through integrity, clarity, and consistency, and its role in shaping strong teams and culture.

April – Mental Health & Leadership
Explore the connection between well-being and leadership effectiveness, including resilience, boundaries, and creating psychologically safe environments.

May – Leadership Growth & Graduation
Reflect on leadership as a daily, intentional process. Celebrate growth and commit to continued leadership development beyond the Academy.
