Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 4 and join the women and men of the Boulder City Garden Club. The featured speaker that evening will by Cheryl Waites, a master gardener who many know as the “Hollyhock Lady”. She will be speaking on gardening tips and techniques handed down over generations and how they apply to gardening now. There will be a brief Q&A after the remarks. Members of Mojave Masters will also be present.

The public is invited to attend. The meeting takes place at the Boulder City Library, located at 701 Adams Boulevard in ABC Park. The meeting begins at 6:00PM.

Enjoy an evening in Boulder City, Nevada’s charming Downtown Historic District as you stroll, shop, have fun visiting with friends and business owners and of course – drink wine! Check in at Frank Crowe Park. Come dressed however you wish and be prepared to stroll and show off your best ‘Pajama Party’ inspired costumes and have some silly fun on this walk through town.

Buy your tickets online up to 24-hours in advance for $25 each (plus fees from Eventbrite), or $35 at the door. You must be 21 years of age to participate and ID will be required.

You will receive a stamp at checking in and your own BDWW wine walk glass. Regardless of your reserved time slot you may check in anytime between 3:30pm – 6:00pm. Maps are available if you are unfamiliar with Boulder City.

Bootleg Canyon Gravity Racing

The 2024 Coyote Championship Series returns next weekend with a race at Bootleg Canyon. They are a cross country mountain bike race series and include categories for beginners, sports level races, experts, professionals, and E-bikers. This year, they are featuring a new endurance race that begins at 8:00AM. The analog bikers start at 10:00AM and E-bikers at 1:00PM. You can still register by clicking HERE. The series will continue on October 19 and November 30.
