The monthly meeting of the Lakeland Board of School Trustees will be held at the Lakeland School Corporation Board Room at 6:30pm.Friday, November 15, 2024
Join us for a "State of the Cities & Towns," featuring local leaders and influencers. Learn how our local communities departments operate and co-exist, and about the state of the local towns, projects, and more. You'll also learn about how these processes impact your business, and how you can get involved to make a difference in LaGrange County. We'll feature a panel-style discussion, followed by a question-and-answer opportunity, as well as one-on-one networking opportunities with our speakers. This event is free to all community members. You need not be a chamber member to attend. Registration is requested, light refreshments and beverages are provided.

One of the favorite events of the year: The Annual Power of the Purse & Wallet, this year with 2 opportunities! All proceeds of this event are distributed to the Boomerang Backpack and Blessings In A Backpack programs at Westview, Lakeland, and Prairie Heights School Corporations. This event is a purse auction and dinner, aimed at ensuring that "No Tummy Goes Hungry" in LaGrange County. In addition to a live auction of purses, bags, and wallets, try your hand at purchased raffle tickets with our "packed purse raffle." Tickets can be purchased the day of the event.
