The Northern Neck Orchestra will showcase the passionate music of the Romantic period at its winter concert on Saturday, March 2 at the Lancaster Elementary School Theater, 191 School St., in Kilmarnock.

 The performance will feature Elfrida Andrée’s  Concert Overture in D major, Antonín Dvořák’s  American Suite in A Major, Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be preceded by a pre-concert talk by the orchestra’s Music Director Michael Repper at 6:45 p.m.  Tickets are $40.00 and may be purchased online at www.northrernneckochestra.org or at the door.  Students are free.
