Join McIlwain Mobility Solutions at William B. Pond Park for the Bike Fest. We will be riding our adaptive bikes on the 8:00 am ride to Guy West Bridge.
We will also be a vendor at the Bike Fest showing many of the adaptable bikes that we sell, as well as off road wheelchairs and a few other accessibility items.
Spring Service Day 2024
Join the City of Rancho Cordova and Rancho Cordova In Action for Spring Service Day on Saturday, May 18, 2024. At this inaugural event, residents and organizing partners will celebrate service in Rancho Cordova and reignite our community's passion for volunteerism.
Residents will have the opportunity to volunteer for one of over a dozen projects throughout the day, make in-kind donations and more. Prior to heading to individual project sites, volunteers will gather at Rancho Cordova City Hall, 2729 Prospect Park Drive, to kick the day off with tasty food, fun activities and high-energy performances with other wonderful service-minded people.
From park clean-ups, to mural painting and home renovations, there will be something for everyone at Spring Service Day.
Rancho Cordova In Action
Rancho Cordova In Action is a group of community leaders in Rancho Cordova who are working to mobilize our service opportunities for residents and community members to continue to foster civic engagement activities throughout the year and years to come.
Join us for the in-person networking event for startups and small businesses on the requirements for business licenses or permits based on your business activities, location, and government rules.
Come on May 21st at 9 AM PST and learn more about local assistance available to you via SBA’s resource partner network. Our resource partners such as the Small Business Development Center, Women's Business Center, SCORE, and Veteran's Outreach Center will tell you how you can sign up for entrepreneurial training and counseling, their mentors and counselors, women-owned training, and resources for our veterans' community.

Manjeet McCarthy, Senior Permit Specialist, Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) will deliver information on Permits, Licenses & Certifications for Startups. She supports businesses by providing state, federal, and local permitting assistance and mediation services working at the speed of business. Her enthusiasm is for the common goal of creating a more inventive, inclusive, and sustainable economic future for all. That stems from her struggles as an immigrant, a woman, and a minority. Nevertheless, she has used those difficulties as the cornerstone of her drive and strength to work harder. She has a master’s degree in English Literature from a Commonwealth University in Punjab India.
