The Willows Chamber of Commerce is hosting another Madness Month – your chance to make some BIG BUCKS in February Frenzy! Mailbox Madness Months will begin again in February, and will afterwards be schedule for May, August, and November of 2022.The steps to enter are easy:
- Spend a minimum of $10 at any WILLOWS retail or service business
- Write your name and phone number on the back of your receipt
- Drop your receipt in the Madness Month Mailbox outside the Willows Chamber office at 103 S Plumas St.
It’s so simple, it’s MAD!
Every week, one receipt will be drawn to win $50 in CASH. At the end of the month, all receipts are reentered. One lucky winner will take home $100 in CASH! A total of $300 will be given away during each Madness Month, so make sure that you don't miss out on this event!
Drawings for $50 in cash will happen on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th of February. The final drawing for $100 in cash will be on Wednesday, March 2.

Choosing how and when to get Medicare is an important but difficult decision.PASSAGES Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program (HICAP) is announcing the 2022 Welcome to Medicare Webinar series for those turning 65, or younger adults who will be entitled to Medicare due to a disability. Beneficiaries have several choices around when and how to enroll. Oftentimes understanding the different parts of Medicare, when to enroll, and which type of care is not covered by Medicare can seem complicated.
Choosing how and when to get Medicare is an important but difficult decision. In this Workshop, we provide a decision support path that guides those aging into Medicare with understanding the options available to them, and where to get help with their decision-making.
Due to the Public Health Emergency, workshops will be conducted online via ZOOM. There will be no in-person presentations at this time.

California Uniform Retail Food facility Law requires re-certification of competence in Food Safety and Sanitation every 5 years. Passing the ServSafe® exam is necessary to renew your certification.This training includes the National Restaurant Association ServSafe® exam, ServSafe® Essentials book, answer sheet, and certificate. This ServSafe® workshop is recognized by the California Health Department and fulfills State certification obligations. You will learn the importance of food safety practices and how to implement them in your food service establishment. The trainer is a nationally known restaurant consultant and dynamic, certified trainer.
Participants must register and purchase books 2-3 weeks prior to the class to allow time for book delivery and self-study. Seating is limited!
Cost: $120 per person pre-paid (Includes book)
$80 per person prepaid (Book Not Included)
