The Wunderkammer, or Cabinet of Curiosities, was the direct ancestor of the modern museum. It showed treasures, art, and trinkets from around the world, and inspired entire fields of science. While much has changed, museums remain focused on curiosities. In this staff choice show, see some of the more unusual objects in our collection. What will you discover?

Dates: Friday, February 20 and Friday, March 13, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, dine-in or take-out. Stop by the library every 3rd Saturday for a quiet afternoon of reading alongside fellow book-lovers. Bring a book of your choosing (or find one on the library shelves) and simply enjoy an afternoon of reading in quiet company. The library has a number of cozy chairs and spaces for reading in.
For those who wish to: the last half hour we will come together and share about what we have been reading.
The book, Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker will be the topic of discussion.

Join us for a visit with Romance Iowa author Debra Hines. Debra is a world traveler and grew up as a Colorado native. She now calls Iowa/Nebraska home, loves her Friday nights with her critique group, and writing tales about fictional residents of Spencer, Colorado. She is a long time member of the Romance Authors of the Heartland, a mother of three, and a grandmother of four. Debra also loves cats.
How well do you know The Simpsons? Come for trivia. Teams of 2-4 people- $5 per team. Bar & Kitchen open at 5 pm.
